Graduate employment screening

Hi,
I've just been offered a graduate PPI handler position through an agency, working for an high street bank. I've given consents for vetting to be done by hireright. I have no criminal record. I was a victim of online fraud last year which caused my bank to close all my account. They requested I pay my student overdraft and credit card back immediately which I couldn't do. They initially put a default on my account but I argued it out and they removed it. I have confirmation letters of this. I paid the overdraft at the time but I'm still paying the credit card.
I don't have any CCJ but unfortunately my last flatmate spent our bill and I ended up with our energy bill from British Gas and council tax because my name was on the bills. The council tax has gone to a bailiff but the council have assured me it isn't a CCJ and won't hurt my credit record. I made arrangements with British gas and I disclosed this (not the council tax) 4 weeks ago when I filled in the vetting form. 2 weeks ago, I received a letter saying my stupid ex-flatmate defaulted on the payment arrangement. I have only been able to sort that out today because I get paid monthly.
My worry now is that I may lose the job. Can anyone please advise?

What on earth is this? I know a fair number of PPI claims handlers (and historically sales) but it was certainly not a graduate level job (used to be £11k starting)
Council tax is dealt with by the magistrates court not the county court and so you don't get a CCJ for it and so the credit file wont be affected (though your criminal record can be)
If you disclosed the issues with BG it probably wont cause a problem. I recall they do put some info on your credit file but not to the extent that a credit card company etc would but I dont have a copy of mine to had to double check that memory.0
