I'm desperate!!!

Thanks

I presume you can use this as many times as you like but just not in the same transaction. Can you give feed back if you do try to use this again?

    Good luck
  • I'm going either tomorrow or Tuesday so I will try then. Thanks for that.

I'm not sure how this voucher works because I've noticed there's no voucher & transaction numbers on it. I suppose you could print it out and see if they'll except it. Failing that you could try this.

If you want to you could call them and query this 0800 436 436 customer queries Monday-Saturday 9-5, Sunday 10-4. Make sure to tell them you recieved the voucher from Focus.

The £5 off £50 voucher is a Focus thank you for signing up to their e-mail newsletter, so it is meant to be printed off. It shouldn't be a problem for anyone else to use as the Focus store has no idea who has, or has not, signed up to receive the newsletter. It's valid until December, so its well worth printing off.

You can get a 10% off card on Tuesday's card if you are over 60, apply instore.

Or if you have just moved home or are about to, ask for a Homemovers advantage card which also gets you 10% off on any day (valid for 6 months), apply instore

Aou need a copy of any of the following documents is acceptable: Conveyance, Solicitor's Bill, Estate Agent's Bill, Removal Bill, Rental Agreement or Rent Book

I normally just make up (with Word) a Rental Agreement with a fake address and they always seem to accept it.

  • I have used the £5 off £50 voucher lots of times, but in different Focus stores. I also have used this with the 10% off homemovers card, although it does say on the voucher 'not to be used in conjunction with any other offer'.

The staff serving seem to have missed this though, so do try it!

    Hope this helps someone :-)

I have read above the comments made, and can say allthough you think that you are working the system, Focus are working you. I work at Focus (Yes, bad job, but it pays the bills at uni), the £5 voucher, you could use these as many times as you wanted up until december, provided you print them off. The transaction numbers etc. correspond to the transaction number of your purchase, thus we fill them in, and if you were to, then you would recieve no discount.

Secondly, allthough technically it is illegal to forge the documents to get a homemovers card, quite frankly, nobody cares, including the management. This is because, at the end of the day, the money is going in our till, and not anothers, and if, as it seems by the posts, you spend quite a lot of time in Focus, by the time the 6 months are up, think of the amount of money in our till.
