Email from Glossybox

Has anyone else received an email from glossybox?
I am no worried about being charged, I haven't given details out to them.
Do you think it's worth firing them an email?

I received it today stating
It's not long until your next Glossybox arrives!
This is a courtesy e-mail to let you know that we are charging you for the May Glossybox on Wednesday, 1st May.

I had one too, got me slightly bemused wondering if it was a scam email, as it used my 1st name, didn't enter todays comp, but I have liked them on FB before.
  • Hmmm interesting
Maybe an error on their behalf then

I entered their yves rocher comp today and posted on facebook, now loads of people have complained on their fb page as they got the same email.

    Hope that helps!
I smile because I have absolutely no idea what's going on

I got that email too and started to panic wondering what the heck they were talking about and what money they were going to take....then I remembered I haven't given my bank account details to them so :)
I did email them though and just ask what the email was all about.

I had it too, I can't believe how stroppy some of the posts on their wall are. Why are people accusing them of selling data and saying they're scared of getting overdrawn at the bank? They haven't got any bank details. It's obviously a simple error.

    I just had one;

    Dear Geraldine,

It's not long until your next Glossybox arrives!
This is a courtesy e-mail to let you know that we are charging you for the May Glossybox on Wednesday, 1st May.

If you would like to make any changes to your address or payment details for your May box these need to be updated before the 1st May. To do this please sign in to your customer account and click on "My Subscriptions" on the left-hand side, followed by clicking on the subscription you would like to edit. On the next page you can change your billing/delivery address and any other relevant information. Unfortunately, Customer Care cannot update your details on your behalf.

If you have recently redeemed your Glossydots, don’t worry, we won’t charge you for this month's box.

We hope you are looking forward to receiving your May Glossybox - we can't wait for you to see it!

If you have any further questions or queries, please don't hesitate to contact a member of the team at
    contact@glossybox.co.uk.

    Kind Regards,
    The Glossybox team

I have emailed them back saying I do not want the box. They are obviously having some IT issues.
    :j:j:j Good Luck :j:j :j

In the hope to get something for free? I'm quite disgusted with some of the attitudes of compers stating they should receive something for it - it was a simple mistake, they haven't sold or lost your details and I'm pretty certain they haven't got anyone's bank details - they haven't got mine that's for sure!

    Geez :(
    Thanks to all posters :A
