If you then go on to solve all 50 clues, you go through to our exclusive draw to win Investec Ashes Series tickets... Good Luck!
HINT: Take care with your spelling and be aware that some of the clues have multiple word answers.
The Competition is a competition for the following prizes:
(a) 5 First Prizes: 2 tickets to one day of The Ashes at Lord’s Cricket Ground between 18 and 22 July 2013.
(b) 5 Runners-up Prizes: 2 tickets to the Friends Life t20 finals day at Edgbaston Cricket Ground on 17 August 2013.
The 5 First Prizes will be awarded to the highest scoring Entrants of the Competition. If there are more than 5 entrants who have obtained the highest score, the 5 First Prize winners will be selected at random by the ECB from all Entrants who have obtained the highest score.
The 5 Runners-up Prize winners will be selected at random by the ECB from all of the Entrants of the Competition.
The ECB’s selection of prize winners shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prize winners will be notified of their prizes by email after the Closing Date and will be sent their match tickets by special delivery post. Each Entrant hereby agrees that the name and town/city of residence of each of the prize winners may be published on the ECB Website. A list of prize winners can be obtained from the ECB upon request.
If a prize winner fails to claim a prize within the time specified in the ECB’s prize notification, the prize winner will automatically forfeit his/her prize and another prize winner will be selected.
Prizes are awarded at the ECB’s discretion and no prize will be awarded to any Entrant who, in the opinion of the ECB, has breached any of these Rules or otherwise acted improperly or dishonestly.
The ECB reserves the right to substitute competition prizes at any time with prizes of equal or greater value. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
Any match ticket which forms part or all of any prize shall be provided to the prize winner for use strictly subject to the terms and conditions of such ticket.
If a person under the age of sixteen wins a prize, such person must be accompanied to the match by an adult. The ECB reserves the right to request appropriate proof of ages of any prize winner.
The ECB shall have no liability whatsoever for any costs, expenses or losses incurred by any Entrant as a result of his/her participation in the Competition.
