Label it 'Breast Milk'? That'd work

    Or label it Bulls semen.
They will be 99% sure it's not. But,

    Would you take a chance?
  • What about taking a flask? problem solved.
For the company refreshments, get that powdered milk and keep it in your drawer.
Milk will always be used at work by everyone, its just one of those things.

I would forget to take a flask home, I have an awful memory sometimes and there's no way we could use powdered milk for company refreshments, most of the people who we provide refreshments for are a fussy lot and as we charge for them, they'd probably refuse to pay ;)

I know pilfering is a big problem in our building and not just with milk, we have several kitchens in the building and people often complain that their tea/coffee/sugar has been pilfered. Not much we can do about it, other than labelling or suggest people keep their supplies in their offices....

Swap 'milk' for 'coke, print a few off, stick one one your milk and you are sorted.

Take enough for one day only and keep it in your desk? You could keep it in an insulated lunchbag with a small ice pack in it.

For office stuff you could ask them to buy boxes of individual portions of everything like you get in some hotels? And lock it away somewhere.

That's not a bad idea, taking enough for one day, although the flask one would work too if I stuck a reminder post it on my desk! I might consider these if putting my bottle in a carrier bag in the salad drawer doesn't work. Today might have been a one off with my milk, it's a more regular problem with the company milk,. We can lock away tea bags/coffee that the company buys, so no problem there, just a bit of an issue with the milk.
  • If it was me I would just buy these and just keep them in my drawer:

Works out more expensive but the milk situation would really annoy me, also in my current office I have twice gone in to the kitchen to see lawyers taking a swig straight from the cartons of communal milk. Since then I have been wary of leaving anything in the fridge.

I buy them to take on holiday.

I often used to go to the office fridge and find food that had been named. Once I had a tuna sandwich called Kevin and the following day I had chicken salad called Abdul.
