phone scam?
Options
Just been phoned on my landline by 01792211844 announcing that I can wipe out 70% of my debts by pressing 5
I dont have debt, but I know someone who does, who I have been trying to help via my email account - does this mean that I have been hacked by a scammer? It sounds well dodgy to me, especially as I have been assiduously researching the subject over the last few weeks

Could be someone has bought your number amongst others.0 -
Its likely just a mass marketing targeted at random combinations of numbers. Same as PPI compensation calls & texts etcA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Never ever ever ring these numbers back: some of them will charge you - sometimes up to a fiver - for your call! If you want to know who it is, then go onto the whocallsme.com website as in stompa's post above ^^^ And assume that ALL calls are scam calls.0
