Holiday entitlement for part timer...

Hi,
I work 4 days a week and as such I am entitled to 16 days hol a year...
When the new government guidelines for annual leave came in my employer stayed the old way ie. 20 days pro rota (then paying bank hols on top)
Now he wants to change to the new way but I have worked out I will be .5 day worse off? Is this correct?
Thanks
Z
(I work Mon - Thurs if that makes a diff)

If it helps you're entitled to a statutory minimum of 22.4 days paid holiday a year (including bank/public holidays).0

Thanks, I understand that.. but when you take the bank hols out it leaves me with 15.4 days holiday instead of 16...?0

Given that the 'new' way came into force in April 2009; has your employer given a reason for possibly reducing your holiday entitlement 4 years on?
Usually employers round up to a full day. (They can't round down.)
Is your employer suggesting that you actually take .4 of a day off?0 -
Next year only 6 of the bank hols fall on your working days so you will need to account for this.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0
