Hi, have submitted my application and the only thing they have requested is my proof of deposit, which i have sent over to them.
wouldn't they need more info?? i already hold a mortgage with them, but surely i'll need to provide bank statements etc?

They ask for what they need, as they need it.
If they need something else later, they will ask for it.

My credit score is 968 and they have credit searched me already for the mortgage amount... had everything ready yet this is all they have asked for!0

968 suggests your Experian credit report is in healthy condition. As kingstreet says, the scores lenders use do assess a wider selection of data and look at it from different angles: identity, track record, affordability etc. But knowing your credit report is in great shape should give you confidence as this is certainly an important part of the picture.
