Asda Internet not processing shopping refunds of items returned with driver

Options
Not sure this is the right place to post.

I have just checked my credit card and Asda have not processed a credit card refund for items I gave back to the driver from my last internet shop.

On closer inspection, this is not an isolated incident and it has happpened before. Lucky I keep the bills. Just hadn't got round to checking them.

I have reported it and they phoned to see what was returned.
I said I was not telling them as they should know.
They have said the shop keep records and have agreed to go through them all.

I can't wait to see what the outcome is.

Make sure anyone that shops in the woking area checks their credit card statements for expected refunds.

Thanks for that - just checked my order payment and it's fine. But the driver at the time said if I return something he scans it in my house before he takes it away so the refund should be done automatically.

Im a delivery driver for asda and it sounds like the driver wasnt using his Palm (hand held computer) as if he did have it would of been scanned and refunded immediatley.

I would suggest in future that if the driver doesnt have a palm to get them to sign your delivery form as you then have proof you gave it back.

I have seen some drivers who don't use the palm and dont bother refunding the item when they get back to store.

If you dont mind saying do you know which store your delivery came from?

This has happened to me 4 times out of 5 deliveries with Tesco, so its not just Asda shoppers that need to check credit card statments.
I had a bit of a rant the last time as I shouldn't have to check up on them every time I don't want a substituted item.
