Mortgage Deed Conditions

Hi
After having various fixed mortgages with Santander over the last 10 years, we are currently switching to First Direct and taking out a 5 year fixed mortgage.
We have paid the Booking Fee and have signed the Mortgage Offer, my question relates to the Mortgage Deed Conditions.
As it was some time ago that we completed these with Santander, are they pretty standard?
At present we have done everything ourselves, but should we be getting a solictor to check these Conditions?
Thanks

Conditions are more or less standard between the major lenders. There'll be nothing untoward as such.0

Ask the solicitor appointed by FD to advise you if there are any onerous conditions. Although acting for the lender, they do owe you a duty of care too.Hi
