I rang Lush today about my weird smelling shampoo - the guy was very nice and said I should just take it back and explain that Im not happy and they should sort me out. Not sure if that is code for "tell you to bog off with the flimsy excuse that its handmade so it wont smell the same as the others" or they will replace it - but I will find out Saturday... wish me luck !! (hopefully I will have the nice Canadian girl rather than the stroppy one !!!)

I'm pretty sure that means 'we'll replace it' :D

Hi All, hope you have some sunshine where you are.

I painted my nails last night in OPI I'm all ears, now I have a full size I will use the mini one up, I love it so much I didn't use it as often as I wanted as I didn't want to run out.

I am placing my Avon order today with some bits for myself, they have loads of lovely nail polishes at the moment so I have ordered Seduce me Strawberry (sparkly pink) and a sparkly grape coloured one which I have forgotten the name of.

Dolly, yes, I think you are right about the lass with all that make up on Superscrimpers, it's only one issue...
A UU The gorgeous, fruity smelling shampoo that Ipsos Mori sent me to trial last year. I loved this, would buy it if I knew what it was. Have an Elvive to use up next along with conditioner.
I've been using an eye cream on the very fine lines around my lips. These have only appeared in the last year or so and as I'm 55 in 2 weeks, that's not bad going. The eye cream is one Am@zon sent me to trial last year. It's in a pump action container, now spluttering. The only way I can see of getting the product out is to store the bottle upside down and to use the pump tube as a sort of spatula.

I hope those of you with elections on in your area have exercised your democratic right to vote. 100 years ago we didn't have that right and women were imprisoned, starved and died in the fight to get it. *Steps off soapbox*

trudij I once had a moisturiser that went off after 2 weeks (well within date), so took it back. They asked me to fill in a form, gave me a replacement, and 7 days later a box of goodies (worth about £30) landed on my doorstep to say sorry! They're very decent about it if you have a genuine problem.

    2 UUs today:
A5da mouthwash: pretty generic cheap mouthwash. WMBA. Have another bottle sitting, waiting
Small 5ml Noa (?) perfume. Part of a gift set I got last year, was a bit meh about this fragrance. I didn't not like it, but I wasn't ecstatic about it so WNBA.

I'm very excited (sad, I know) to report my first UU following post-gym shower :j - a Jergens ultra healing body moisturiser, 25ml. This was a GWP, WMBA for after holidays or winter as it was very rich, I imagine it would be great for dry skin. I have already replaced it with a REN neroli and grapefruit lotion.

It's not sad at all, we are all still excited by a UU :D I just wish I had more of them to tell you all about.

When I was watching the Superscrimpers programme I didn't think her challenge should have been to buy more make-up (especially not cheap stuff she will never look at again when she has all that lovely department store stuff already) A real challenge would have been to write up a full stash list with pen and paper. Now that would have put her off buying ever again :rotfl:

    Welcome to all the newbies!
