hi, I'm new to all this and after some advice, I contacted Phoenix Life who have taken over Brittanic Assurance (policy was with Brittanic). I made a complaint for mis-selling my endowment which was taken out in 92 (which I surrendered back to them in 2005) I had to fill in a questionaire. I then got a letter back saying they had recieved my documents and had contacted my morgage provider who in turn had sent them all the relevant info and they would be intouch within 3 weeks. Then this morning I got another letter saying the morgage company hadn't provided all the info so they couldn't do anything until this arrived. What should I do next? should I send another letter and if so any ideas as to what to say? sorry to waffle but need some advice
many thanks
Helen

You need to relax and let them deal with your complaint. The Financial Services Authority require them to deal with your enquiry within a certain time frame.

It can take upto a year for them to resolve it so as Joek says, just wait. It is unlikely to be that long but 3 months is closer to the mark.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
