I think I've mentioned this on another thread somewhere so apologies if you've heard it before, but Asda have a brilliant offer on Pampers Sensitive Wipes at the moment - a box with 6 packs in for £4. They've got an offer on Huggies nappies too, but I didn't notice how much they were.

We have £695 a month left to cover food, clothes(including uniforms), christmas, birthdays, petrol and anything that needs replacing in the house(OH is epileptic and often breaks things during a seizure e.g. chest of drawers, beds!). There are 6 of us, myself and OH, along with 2 teenagers at college, 18 & 17 years old and 8 & 5 year olds.
The teenagers get £30 pw whilst a college which pays for their books, pens, stationary, computer disks etc. we buy everything else for them (clothes, toiletries etc).
I cook most things from scratch, but am still learning and could do better!, I bulk buy from a local(ish) butcher and bulk up food where I can,we grow what we can on an allotment but again still learning, and holidays, trips, social life just do not happen!
We have managed to clear £2100 off of our debts since January(could have done better but slipped off the wagon for a while) and none of us have felt deprived.

You can do it with a bit of determination and the support and knowledge of the wonderful people on ths site.
