hello guys,
what are the costs to do a remortgage?
I know there is a fee to get the mortgage deal which is something between free and £2000 but is there any other expenses?
I read once somewhere a lender offers free Legal "something" , or cash back.
what is that legal thing? and is it better to get the cash back?

Discharge fee on existing mortgage.
Valuation fee.
Booking/Arrangement Fee.
Legal costs.
Any or all of the above can apply and you need to shop around to find deals where some or all of them may be paid for you.
