Wedding dress cleaning NW London/Herts

Our reception is on Sunday and I've discovered marks on my dress which mean it needs cleaning before then!
Does anyone have a recommendation for a wedding dress cleaning service in NW London? (Harrow/Watford/Uxbridge area)
My mum scared me by saying a dry cleaner ruined the finish on a silk dress of hers! My dress is silk taffeta I thought I'd better find somewhere that came recommended. Specialist places seems very expensive and also often require more time than I have!
TIA

Realistically your best option would be to take the dress along to perhaps an established dry cleaner in the area and let them have a look at the marks....it may be that they can patch test a small section of the dress before doing a full clean.
You are quite right about the time constraints...most dry cleaners send away very delicate items for specialist cleaning and it can take several weeks.
if you can try to avoid the generic cleaning chains...as you will probably get a more personalised approach from a company who just dry clean rather than a host of other things too.
Best of luck and I hope you have a wonderful reception at the weekend!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
