Best Driving Day Experiences??

Options
Hi all,

I'm trying to select a track driving experience day for my boyfriend for his birthday.

Unfortunately, I am overwhelmed by the number of companies found on the internet, and there seems to be a large variation in price.

Ideally i'd like a voucher so not pressured into choosing date when buy, and option to drive a porsche.

Any ideas/help/recommendations would be excellent.

I have used Red Letter Days before to order the hubby a flying experience, and they were really helpful on the phone and their website was so easy to book the experience from the voucher he received in the post.

The good thing with Red Letter Days is that if you give the voucher to the person and they dont like/fancy another experience to them one you have bought them they are able to swap it for another aslong as its for the same value as the one you paid for. And I think their vouchers are valid for a year.

I've tried a few and they're all the same. Some have good experiences and some don't... The days are usually chaos organisation but worth it for the enjoyment the person gets. I would work out the cost per minute driving or cost per lap and go for the cheapest. As there is no difference in the actual experience .

If you sign up to groupon / on wow her to receive emails or buys gift they usually have offers and the grabbit board. It's just a question of how soon you want the experience.

Try buying it as close to the OH birthday as well as you get 10 months from date of purchase to redeem it.

You should also check where the experience is and what days it is available...

We found the ones at Thruxton to be really well organised and they had quite a few different deals and prices.

I've bought a couple of these for my OH and my Dad and used Everyman Racing http://www.everymanracing.co.uk/ My OH bought one for me and used the same company.

We buy vouchers that allow you to choose the car, date and track location when you are ready. They have lots of combinations to choose from.

They have been helpful on the phone when booking etc. We have gone to the Pro Drive track in Warwickshire each time and things have gone well each time so far (we have another one to book later this year). Also I think you get a year to use the voucher.
