I received my discharge notice, yesterday, but it does say, on the File Notice:
Even though you are discharged from bankruptcy you have a continuing duty pursuant to section 333(1) of the Insolvency Act 1986 to co-operate with the trustee in bankruptcy so that the trustee may carry out his functions. You also have a continuing duty to co-operate with the Official Receiver regarding the administration of your bankruptcy estate. You should also note that the assets in your bankruptcy estate remain vested in your trustee in bankruptcy and they will not be returned to you.
I assume that that includes my beneficial interest in the Matrimonial Home, as last month the trustee wrote to my wife to give her the opportunity to make an offer to purchase my BI.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Indeed it does. Get it sorted ASAP as the amount your wife will have to pay will increase as the value of the house rises.
Ideally, the process of buying the ORs interest should have been started a few weeks after the interview.0 -

We have been trying to sort this - just seems a bit strange that trustee wrote to us on the same day as the OR signed my release statement stating that the investigation of the bankrupt's affairs is 'unnecessary or concluded'.
We did reply, immediately, to trustee's letter, and are hoping to be in a position to make an offer by the end of this month.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser.
