Just being nosy really! I know most people have a colour theme but does anyone run another theme alongside that?

We are having cadbury purple with a bit of silver and sparkle thrown in as a colour theme but then alongside that, and yes, Im aware how random this sounds lol we are having a buttons and sweets theme

Would love to read what everyone else is doing!

Ours is kitesurfing, so its on the beach, our tables are named after the beaufont scale etc.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....
  • Our colour "theme" is autumn colours (so red, bronze, gold and burnt orange) as it's an October wedding and it's also got a film and cartoon theme I suppose as the table "numbers" are paintings of our favourite cartoons and the music playing at the wedding breakfast will be from our favourite films. Oh and our invitations had a Big Lebowski quote on them! :)

I have too many themes! Had to rein myself in from many more too! Our colour is teal and we also have bunting, books and rainbow themes! The bridesmaids and men's ties are in teal but everything else is going to be multicoloured and as we both work with books we're gonna have a lot of those about too, there'll be lots of bunting and the cake will have bunting on too. I suppose there's a handmade theme too as I'm making most things!

Colour wise we are going for neutrals (pale browns/taupes/creams) with bright pinks and purples. For our theme it is looking something along the lines of a vintage village fete in a rustic barn! Lots of bunting, flowers, sweets and garden games.

I had aubergine and yellow as colours and a "spring" theme (sort of) so birds nest favours, bird place card holders etc :)

My main colour is dusky pink but it is a sort of vintage/country fair type theme as have pastel coloured bunting and having loads of different types of flowers as centre pieces.

  • I am struggling with a theme other than colour - which is sort of plum/burgundy ish and ivory.

Can anyone help with some suggestions? I need a theme I guess for table names, I don't want to just have table numbers

A popular but still nice idea is special places for you. Or say if you live in London or another city - special areas/streets/bars etc. I'm thinking of computer game names for our tables as I think I will be getting my way for most things so it's something for him!!
