To help you would need to provide more details.

So what are you paid weekly - gross?
What tax code is being used?

I don't know about NI, but on £150 a week you wouldn't pay any tax. (PAYE tax threashold = £156 per week)
  • Thanks but I have earned over 156 and still no tax . Im not complianing just dont want the tax man coming after me for it in a later date .

Last year's tax code was 810L. This would give £156pw before any tax was due.

This year's tax code is 944L so why are you still on 810L? Threshold for tax is now £181pw.

£156 was the equivalent weekly tax-free allowance prior to 6 April. It is now just over £181 per week in the current year and your tax code should be 944L.

Remember too that tax is paid on a cumulative basis. So if you earn over £181 one week but less than that on average, you still will not be due to pay tax.

However, you should be paying NI contributions in any week you earn over £149. NI is not paid on a cumulative basis.
  • Thanks. Cheers for help
