Any ways to make extra or entitled benefits?

I'm almost 22 and I work 50 hours per week ( 10 hour shifts mon-fri ) and I spend around 1-2 hours travelling each way ( I drive 20 miles to a pickup point then jump in a van and travel around an hour plus to the job). I'm on £6.30 per hour.
I'm single and live on my own is there any benefits or help from the goverment I can get? About a quarter of my wages per week goes on fuel to drive to and from work.
Thank you

Single person discount on your council tax?
Any chance you could move closer to work?Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
Yeah I get that thank you! Possibly but moving is expensive with deposits Etc0

Well youre on your own then, no benefits and really to be honest, neither should there be.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Sorry, no there won't be. Benefits are based on your income coming in, you won't get any help just because you're having to spend a large amount of that on travel expenses. As mentioned above if you're planning at staying in this job long term it might be worth looking into moving closer or does anyone else live in your direction who might be willing to carpool to reduce costs?0

I used to cycle 15 miles to work and back and there was another person there who cycled 20 to get there. It takes a little getting used to so it is a good idea to give more time than you expect it to take at first but it is massively cheaper than driving or public transport and maintenance costs are small compared with those of a car.0

It certainly wasn't meant as a dig. And I apologise to the OP if that's the way it came over.
I meant that there shouldn't be benefits to pay peoples petrol money, which is what the op was asking.
I couldn't help any more than the previous poster to ie reduction in council tax, move closer to work. I couldn't help any more than that. He was quick to dismiss those. ]make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
