Has anyone used any of the companies that covert VHS to DVD? There seems to be dozens of companies offering this service and I wondered if anyone had a recommendations.
I'm throwing out all my videos but really want to have a copy, however bad, of the stuff I took of my children back in the 1990s.
Thanks

Hi, I have used http://www.revivestudios.co.uk/ a few times. they have transferred old video (inc my wedding) which I actually thought was too damp or mouldy as it was nearly 30 years old - they have done cine films, slides too for us and we have been very pleased. they do a nice folder and you can choose music etc - we had a slight hiccup with one DVD (we ordered several of the same) and they were very easy to deal with and sent a replacement by return of post. I didn't think they were expensive at all and when we used it, the website was very easy too - it was great seeing all the old cine films, some footage going back to when I was a child, people and animals who had long gone, so well worth doing, hope that helps0

Thank you for that.
I had all the old cine film converted about 6 years ago, which was amazing as some of it dated back to the late 1950s and I sat there trying to work out who I recognised of my aunts and uncles.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
