Hi there, my DC04 is practically on its last legs so been looking for another dyson online. I think price-wise its gonna have to be the dc07 which seems to be the cheapest but it says it isnt suitable for wooden floors, i ve been using my dc04 on carpets/laminate for quite a while with no problems so cant understand the difference.
Has anyone any experience of the 07 on laminate? Just wanting to check before i order. Thanks.

I've got a DC07 allergy and use it on my laminate (hallway and lounge).
I've not had any problems.0 -
Its rubbish on laminate, it just shoves the bits around the floor without picking them up as you can't stop the brushbar spinning and the gap between the floor and the bottom of the vac means anything other than 'dust' doesn't get picked up. We've spent two years doing the laminate with the tools. I'd consider something else TBH. Just replaced ours with a cheap VAX cylinder form ebay and its a dream compared to the dyson.
Dyson aren't the only bagless vacs around now, its worth looking around. Theres a lot of money to be saved0 -

The only things my dyson wont pick up are things like peanuts etc but anything smaller is fine.0 -
Yes ive got 2 dysons DC07 and DC14 both are the all floor versions and you can switch the brush bars off but i always forget:o and i do the laminate in the hall and the kitchen then just use the hose for the bits it wont lift. I did try the hoover hoover but it was scratching the floor:mad:The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0
