american flag sock monkey - Help please

Hi all my daughter is of to the usa for the summer and I desperately want to make her a sock monkey with usa flag or stars an stripes socks. But I need them to be ankle socks or baby socks so it can fit in her luggage and I cant find any anywhere and she is leaving soon ?

If really stuck you could buy a pair of each colour and make bits from each. The colours are that of the Union Jack too so a mixture of home and away theme?
