Council tax Banding

in Cutting tax
I received a letter from the assesor today informing me that I had been successful in reducing my council tax banding from E to D, Howevere thewre will be no money due back to me as "My appeal was not within the period laid down by the Regulations.ie: if I was a ciouncil tax payer ion 1 april `1993 I had until 30 November 1993 to make a proposal. I have been paying the wrong band for 15 years. How sick am I.......:mad:

Carol Post on the 'council tax discussion' thread and someone may be able to help you.
If you look back at the posts on there you'll probably find someone else has been in your situation. There's loads of good information.
