    Pigs might fly.
Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j

OU student: A103 , A215 , A316 all done. Currently A230 all leading to an English Literature degree.

Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.

Might be worth trying for a job on a Market stall for instance or possibly in a caf! etc. Just one or two ideas. I know a few people who don't have qualifications, but are working in those type of environments.
  • I dont see why not if they are in good health.Obviously they have been doing something with their life, they might have been a carer or a stay at home parent etc.So they will have things they can talk about.
Could the person apply for some voluntary work as well as looking for some entry level positions? Then at least after a couple of months they will be able to get a reference etc.

The supermarkets, certain large retail chains, and the likes of B&Q, Homebase, etc. appear keen on the golden oldies :)

Just a casual observation, though, couldn't possibly comment on their experience/quals (or lack of).
