....... for news on mortgage/HTB application.
HTB application went off to local agents on Thursday/Friday so I'm hoping to hear back by the end of next week, my broker has completed halifax full application but has not pushed the button on it yet pending outcome of HTB application. AIP achieved at the level needed.
However I'm working myself into a right spin worrying about the full application to Halifax due to some late payments on my credit file from 08/09. Could this be an automatic decline when it gets to that stage?? I bank with Halifax so I'm assuming they have a clue about my financial goings on.....don't use o/d......save each month etc....
Could anyone put my mind at rest? I appreciate it's a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string' question

How many late payments? . If they are late and not missed you're probably worrying about nothing
