I used to post on here every day, and still recognise some of the names from back then. Glad to 'hear' you are ok

I am debt free, but in danger of taking my eye off the ball a bit, so if nobody minds, I will start to post again.

    Today I have/ will;

Walked to Mr S with my trolley to get the bits of shopping that Aldi's didn't stock. I love Aldi's, but it is a bit annoying that you can't get everything you need there. Saved petrol I would have used if I had driven though :)

Planted a supermarket parsley in a corner of the raised veg bed to avoid it dying in the silly little pot it came in

Washing on line to dry (hopefully - it doesn't look great out there :()

Need to do something about my poor hanging basket of strawberry plants. Blimmin' jackdaws have stolen a lot of the stuff I bought to line it, presumably for their nests. I expect it is shoved down someone's chimney now, so a nuisance for them as well

    Make a quiche and a cake :)

Cook a roast dinner later, and make sure there is enough meat left for at least one more meal. No, DD2 and her OH with the humungous appetite have just invited themselves for dinner, so not much chance of that :rotfl:

Have a nice Sunday afternoon everybody :)

    Evening all!

Had an busy day yesterday and a mild hangover this morning so only just getting around to posting! Plus I think we need a *bump*

    This is/was me this weekend:
    Yesterday:

    - Checked bank
    - Recieved £20 fuel money from DB2, went straight in the fuel tank instead of hanging around in my purse!
    - Bought DD cute new outfit in Sainsbos, for party
    - Paid for DNephew and DD to have hair cuts
    - Transferred money for the above two points from my budget account to everyday account
    - Mr T's shop, didn't stick to list and spent £64!!! Shopping budget it £40 p/w
    - Took DD to birthday party with present from stash and 50p card from Mr T's
    - Dropped DD off at her dads straight from the party saving a journey
    - Got dressed up and went out for friends birthday, started at his house with my premixed Malibu and coke. Coke from ally's free link and Malibu from cupboard
    - OH paid for all the drinks last night when we went into town, yummy cocktails
    - Stayed at OH's house (soon to be my new house!!!) to save on taxi fare

    Today:
    - Dropped trusty iPhone 3GS and smashed front screen, this has happened before and it's been replaced but at least before while it was broken it still worked. This time I think it's gone to phone heaven. :( Have ordered new front screen and back for it for £10 online to see if it can be saved.
    - Went for a wander around electrical goods shops to price up new appliances needed. I DO NOT need a new Kenwood for £500...
    - B/L/D from stores
    - NSD!
    - Recieved free dried apricots from OH's mum, not sure why she gave them to me but I do love them :rotfl:
    - Will make porridge pots for the week, plus an extra for a colleage I am trying to convert...he pays £1.50 for one EVERY day!!!!!!
    - No ironing needed :j
    - Unplugged iPod dock in kitchen as it is now redundant :(
    - Think I'm going to start a new MSE diary :p

    Jx
Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!
