Just received in an email from Play.com:
Sony Ericsson V630i on Vodafone PAYG, £69.99 delivered including a free pair of Sony Ericsson MPS60 speakers:
http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/3297051/Sony-Ericsson-V630i-Vodafone-Pre-Pay-Mobile-Phone-With-Free-Sony-Ericsson-MPS60-Speakers/Product.html
Looks like a great price for an mp3 phone with expandable memory and a 2mp camera. See Sony Ericsson's site for full specs, plenty of reviews around on the web too. The free speakers are currently £11.95 on Amazon, £18 on Play.com!

yes, it is an unlockable phone. you can do it yourself via davinciteam.com for about £35 or phone up vodafone and get the code for £15-£30.
you should be able to use a gsm sim, but i think vodafone disable the menu to switch between 2g & 3g
EDIT: local market stalls/ shops may not be able to unlock these yet as they are db2020 handsets0 -

Most won't, because the amount of logs you have to buy and the poor pricing make it unrealistic to bother.0
