I quit my job today. I contacted head office via email. ice been unhappy for months and ive been crying myself to sleep. so my partner said quit go to.college get a part time job and wel be ok.
I.received a letter back from head office. not to say whats happened or to speak to me but a letter saying hes getting legal advice and i can expect a letter from his solicitor.
i know that a minor majority can take u to court but how common is this. i was to scared and stressed to give in my notice.

You got these responses on your previous post.Takeaway_Addict wrote: »Whilst its unlikely they would goto court its not unheard of. You cannot give carte blanche it won't happenYes it is not unheard of. But the cases in the last 10 years can be counted on one hand.
You also got many responses telling you to hand in your notice and then ask your GP to sign you off sick. Why didn't you do this?0 -
What is it their 'threatning' to seek legal advice for then?
I'm just curious
Have you talked to them before now about your unhappiness? as it sounds like you had been working there a while? it also sounds like you would like them to ask about your issues now which isn't going to happen because you have 'walked' although I can understand0 -

Its not a minor majority that can take you to court, any employer can take you to court for breach of contract if this is what you did.
I don't know why anyone is giving you advice though as you aren't listening.
I and others gave you the easy out of this without causing further grief yet it was ignored.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0
