  • Hi, I'd like to join in please. I have £200 to last me until I find another job as I haven't been paid my final wages and my partner is struggling to pay all the bills :(

I need to make at least £10 a day but to be honest, I have no clue how. I'm going to ebay some things but we really don't have that much to sell. I only buy cheap primark clothes, and I don't have many so selling clothing isn't an option.

I've registered with a couple of online sites like textbroker but I doubt I will get a high enough score on there to much money at all.

    Help?!

The first post has lots of suggestions & links that will give you ideas, I'd also recommend reading previous threads including the current April thread. Lots of ideas & tips get posted as people find something that's worked for them and want to share it. Finally, the "up your income" board also has lots of ideas.

That should give you a starting point, if you have any specific questions on something please ask - we're a friendly bunch and someone will usually have an answer.

Thanks for the welcome! Just feeling a bit down since losing my job and facing the prospects of debt just isn't making me feel too happy!:o

I've tried to join pinecone but it said that I didn't match what they were looking for right now :( Are there any other survey sites worth signing up for?

I don't mind putting hard work in now whilst I'm searching for a job, If I get the one I interviewed for, that's still only part time so I'd still have plenty of time.

I sold a few things on etsy before so I might go back into doing that but the gov website is confusing me with how to sign up as self employed but not as a business :undecided so I'm reluctant to start that back up without doing things properly.

I'm definitely going to do this again! I can't believe how motivated the April thread made me. I was making money I'd just never, ever have made if it hadn't been for getting my act together after reading all the hints and tips!

... and if only I hadn't been hit by bill after bill after bill I might even have had some spare to put in my savings account. Ah well, maybe in May....

So I'll go for £5.00 a day again, as I'll be everso busy next month so that should hopefully be a challenge without being a mountain!! :j

..... Nah, I'm going to amend that, I made 150 last month so I'm going to give myself a challenge to up that to £200 for May!
    NOV 2014 £151.74/£150 ... DEC 2014 £303.81/300 ... JAN 2015 £143.33/£150
    FEBRUARY 2015 £25.79/£100

I tried this challenge and lost my motivation. But my bounce is back and I'm ready for a challenge!
