Hi
Does anyone know of any distance providers who can access funding, including 24+ Adult Loans, for Vocational Courses ie. NVQs?
I work full time so need to do this course online but can not find a provider who will accept the learning loan.
Any help welcome

I would like to do NVQ Level 4 Business Admin. I was hoping to do it with the OU but they have just informed me they cannot access funding including the 24+ Adult Loan. I had n't realised up til this point that the college had anything to do with the application for a loan, I just assumed I applied and then if successful, the moneys were paid to the relevant college for fees etc.0

Why not do the OU Foundation Degree in Business instead?

Speak to your local FE College about the course. They may offer it and will be able to accept the loan.0

I wanted to do the Level 4 as a route to becoming an assessor (A1) then FE tutor. I'm not sure that the Foundation degree would allow me to do this. It looks interesting so I will make inquiries. Thanks

Speak to your college as you may be able to do teh A1 through them without charge if they have associate assessor vacancies.0

You'll go further with a degree than you will with NVQ4.0
