Garden leave whilst on annual leave

Hi all,
I handed my notice in yesterday and my company have asked me to go on garden leave from today.
However, I have booked off annual leave for next week. I am just trying to work out whether my annual leave allowance will still be used or the whole period should be garden leave.
My main concern is that I haven't accured enough annual leave so I would actually lose out by using it.
I just wondered as soon as your placed on garden leave, does annual leave get cancelled?

I think that your gardening leave overrides your annual leave, and you should be entitled to your holiday pay as well - http://www.worksmart.org.uk/rights/im_leaving_a_job_but_havent_taken
You may want to ask your company though. I'm not 100% though so somebody may be more knowledgeable and correct me!0 -
I would argue that it doesnt cancel your vacation but evidently you are free to cancel it if you dont want it any more.
Remember that garden leave can be cancelled with no notice and you must keep yourself available to go into work as normal. If you want to take a risk you cancel the booked holiday and hope they don't call you in otherwise you may find a disciplinary for being AWOL0
