The other flaw in the system is that for the PWC the child support received is disregarded for benefits but the child support paid is counted as income for the NRP despite the fact they do not have the funds to spend.

Hmmm - An interesting point that I've never considered!
However - I did once ask an adviser that if the Govt states that a minimum amount is required to live on each week then how can it be that NRPs are expected to live on £5 a week less than the minimum. The answer isn't worth recording at this point...
