Booked some hotel rooms in London for DS's wedding in september last night. Not a cheap hotel but is walking distance from reception and it is an occasion after all. Went through TCB through Expedia and got 12% cashback. Also booked a room for mil and fil through OH's account and got same again. Worked out I almost have enough in TCB accounts to pay the total bill for our room for the 2 nights.
Was feeling a bit low today ( with all Mum and DD problems) but that has cheered me up.
Thanks to MSE and especially this thread I feel I can manage my financial woes really well. Now must open a TCB account for DD today so she can book her room and save up for it with cashback. Rooms dont have to be paid for until the day so that's good too. We are staying at the RE in Shoreditch.

1.5kg is showing as £6 in T's if you can't find a glitch.
