If you google Cruise Kings then give them a ring - I think they are based in Scotland so they should be able to advise better than London based cruise companies.

So what you want is a flight down to somewhere - eg Barcelona and a 7 night cruise from there.

Also decide about dining - wether you want freedom dining or fixed sittings, early or late - different cruise lines have different ways of doing things.

Friend of oh has just booked a 14 night med cruise in June for just under £1 thousand each, balcony on Azure. Mind you this is to and from Southampton.

From Edinburgh there are trains that will take you straight through to Southampton, just one change at Newcastle - we've done it, very long trip but very interesting.

    Morning mad squad,

Can any of the experienced cruisers please tell me what is a good price for a 7day med cruise with flights from Scotland, all inc. with balcony in August.

I've looked and looked and have a few ideas but having never done a cruise before would appreciate an idea of how much I should be looking to pay.

A balcony is necessary for mrs99p and we are pretty sure about all inc.

    Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Good morning all. Yes, we too have rain.

Thinking of Tiny today as we all are. I hope she finds comfort from all those who attend today to offer support.

Tis funny, when we buried my mother it was a glorious sunny day. I hated that fact. In a strange way, I would have liked it to be dull and rainy. As if the heavens themselves were mourning.

Had a fab evening so far :D Aunt and Uncle popped over for a visit again, still just arrived on the doorstep but this time i'd been tipped off by my Mum to expect them ;) Have blitzed house in preparation today so it was clean and tidy and I felt much more relaxed :)

One thing has completely astounded me though. My Aunt knows a lady from swimming and has obviously told her about our situation. This lady who I don't know apparently asks about me every day :A She won a £100 Mr Ts gift card which she insisted to my Aunt that she would not use and put through her letterbox to be passed on to us  How amazing is that?:D I've got the lady's address so I can send a thank you card but not sure I'm going to be able to express properly how amazed and grateful we are :A

I'm sat in work reading back and now have tears in my eyes it's good to be reminded how lovely most people are :)
