Good evening everybody, I hope you have all enjoyed the sunshine. I broke my promise and went shopping, Luckily a friend came over and I gave her some stuff out of the freezer. I went to Mr W because they had more of the twinnings teabags in so I got another two free packets.
I hit it at whoopsie time and there were multi buy salmons reduced so got 6 salmon steaks for 97p and some lamb reduced from £8 to £1. I also got chicken. Not bad for 20min shop.
Nannylala sorry to hear about your BIL. I hope you and your family are ok.Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »Thank you. You make a very valid point about not just getting stuff for the sake of them potentially glitching. Of course, sun creams and tanning lotions should be bought either in the depths of winter on RTCs, or on Boots glitches (preferably with points previously obtained for very low spend via Treat Street).
There's some at £7 individual price (A) that is £3.49 in T. I've been watching the multibuy on those in the last few weeks to see if it's off, because 2x £7 (on any 2 for £6), I think I calculated it as working out at paying you £1.32 or something like that to take them away if they compared at £14vs 2x£3.49. Sometimes it is worth buying stuff even if you don't want it! Certainly better than 'saving' £1.32 on the Price Prom. at T.
Sadly the £7 ones didn't lose their multibuy much that I saw, and the T offer on them is now due to expire tomorrow (keep eyes peeled there: possible DTD?) so this may now be off for the APG except perhaps for early morning shoppers tomorrow.
I have now with me another "interesting" receipt:rotfl::rotfl:. Well, later on (there's still some time till the 3 hours), you may be able to see another imperfect-basket-messed-up-shop from me!
It turned out easier on the Rimmels when in-store. It was a lot easier to tie up various in-store ones to those on MSM. The exact versions I was looking for (the trigger to go with the £7 present-on-MSM-item) turned out apparently not to exist at all!! There was no dark in my store, other than Dark Matte. In the end, I've settled down on the medium one which is the make-up one. It says "Medium Shimmer" on the product I've bought - there is one called "Medium Shimmer" on MSM, but it pictures a Make Up one which doesn't say Medium Shimmer - or something like that - the details are now in the midsts of time for me too:rotfl:- too complicated - but there's clearly some confusion on MSM so, guess what,... I've plumped for that product where they may be the discrepancy.
I can afford this shop anyway - so I've been willing to do a test (even though I said I wasn't going to do them anymore!:rotfl:). Meanwhile, the Glue Sticks had the correct SEL price instore, as they had had earlier. They were crying out for Heinz spaghettis at home, so I've bought those (for the 'lazy cooking'!). I needed more bleach. I saw the own brand 2L citrus to a lower price in T. The A version was priced at £2.00. SEL said £1.78 - but sadly that's what it went through as.
As for the Rimmels, it's anyone's chance. Best would be if both actually appeared on the comp. (which they might well do, if the make-up one links to the medium shimmer) but then didn't identify the multibuy at A. The medium shimmer was lacking a multibuy earlier tonight then suddenly reappeared! Might be delay into the APG? Might, or might not, work tomorrow if so. Otherwise, the item will fail to appear and will trigger. Instead, worst option would be both to appear and to interact and pick up the multibuy. Ohoh... the other item, the £7 one, I bought is showing N/A for A when logged out. So maybe that won't appear but neither would the other one? Or I might be luckier! Anyway, I've got a busy evening to sort out now and I'll be back later with the outcome!
Thanks Savvy, will await your update.0 -
