Why don't you all discuss this in PM? Why bring it here? If you've got a problem with people elsewhere, I don't see the need to bring it here. Now. Who is for a cuppa?

No one has said that someone from the facebook group brought it here. Or at least not the way I read it.

To be fair I didn't read that WQ ever mentioned FB - the reason I didn't, is because WQ didn't! As for levels of acceptable - I thought we'd been over this? We don't agree, so move on.
As far as this thread and MSE is concerned,[...]
Just to make this clear, I do not speak for this thread, as it isn't mine nor do I speak for MSE - your post suggest you do. Am I missing something? This thread is a collective of different opinions, it doesn't have a democratic leader, as far I was aware, to say whether it is right or wrong to use a voucher with no legitimate source.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Just been away to do some more calcs and find a baseline for instant coffee. I get 40 cups from 100g of instant and I usually drink Carte Noire or Nescafe Gold or whatever is on offer of similar quality. Cheapest I usually get it for is £2/100g unless there is a glitch. This makes it 5p/cup for quality instant. Haven't costed my Gaggia/coffee grounds yet but the Podpronto doesn't look so bad and will be even better if I can continue to get more 10p packs:)

I bought the machine in my pre mse days :o I can't drink coffee from a jar anymore, I just don't like the taste. I don't use the pod machine all the time. Id says it's used for maybe 5 or 6 cups a day between my coffee and the kids making hot chocolate. I have used a bit more recently since getting my hands on cheap pods.

I have another filter maker thats on as soon as Im up in the morning and stays on until the jug of coffee is done. I like having it on tap so to speak

    Hiya

The bit missing that came immediately after your shortened quote said "my understanding is ....." Have never said I speak for MSE :D but I am acutely aware of the issues that cause posts to be deleted (as has already happened elsewhere on this very issue this am) and threads closed or locked, and I am sure many others using this thread are too. As a collective of different opinions, I hope we all have a kind of joint responsibility to protect our community because it is worth protecting. No, not the opinion of MSE, just mine :)

good morning all hope all is well,
just had an upset dd phone her 18month old daughter locked her out of the house when she was sorting the washing then could not undo the door:eek: ended up her next door neighbour had to break the glass in the front door and little girl was hysterical but luckily 10 week old baby slept through it she felt really bad as one of them could have got hurt convinced her anyone could have done it and all that matters was the kids were ok, her lovely neighbour even cleared all the glass for her and sorting a board until she can get it glazed

I did this when mine were little exactly the same hanging the washing out but my daughter was about 3 and managed to let me back in. Even worse than that I was running a hot bath when she was about 3 and she locked herself in the bathroom I was terrified she was going to get in the bath and be scalded I had to try to break the door down that had her screaming ( in hindsight i should have remained calm lol ) then she opened it again after that we took the lock off the bathroom door until the kids were about 12 lol
  • Just jumping on quickly to say that I've just received 2x£3 off £10 spend at my local Tesco Express. Not sure if anyone else has posted about this or got any vouchers like this.

If you have an Express close by but have not received any vouchers, it might be worth popping in now and again to buy something small. We only use ours now and again if we have forgotten to buy anything or have run out and don't want to go to the Extra. HTH

Whoever asked about Matalan orders earlier, i've just had a text to say my order is ready to collect from store so looks like they are honouring the £10 vouchers (not sure about home delivery though).....
