Came up at £2.50 on comparison

Thanks. Point is I think £2.50 (or even 10% cheaper - £2.25) is too expensive (for me to be comparing to on one of my own shops)!:D

I'm off to a car boot too in a minute. I agree with much of what you say - put my two pennorth in yesterday but everyone else seem to think he was OK. Apart from drawing too much attention to what we get up to, I couldn't quite make out how he was able to use so many higher value coupons against items that cost so much less.

I certainly didn't think 'okay'. I agree - less said the better.

I think my T must be out of sync with others on prices sometimes. I remember the Thorntons Snowmen frustratingly scanning at 79p for a week after everyone else was getting them for 1p

Good Evening lol well Wrexham lost 2 . 0 huh. Anyway on a brighter note I managed to get a free ikea chair worth £12.50 with my temporary family card which I set up a week or so ago. I didn t think I would be able to as I d read it wasn t allowed. However I read the thread about them and people were reporting that they had managed it so I thought I would try. Had to get an assistant to sort it for me and she was most obliging. It wasn t the one advertised as they had all sold out but at least they offered an alternative :D

I've have tried to be a bit MSE for a few years, but reading this thread has shown me I have so much to learn:eek:, but I am learning:j
Dear, much younger neighbour, took me to our local Mr t's as she wanted to pick up a click and collect.
Result, 6x 22p handwash (3 each) - cleared the shelf.
No single tins of toms, bought pasta... well... what a commotion :rotfl:

    'your voucher isn't valid yet'

Can you check please cos I think it is!

'Oh yes, .. but you haven't spent the necessary amount of money'

What amount is that, 'cos it doesn't say?

'Oh it doesn't does it, you must have bought the wrong thing'

But what I bought looks just like the picture on the coupon! Supervisor called, accepted voucher.

I'm learning, and they'll learn too :rotfl:

I have a confession to make. I am on my last lot of washing powder!!!!. Any suggestions anyone.
Also spent all morning trying to get my printer to print wirelessly. Aagh!!!

Hi, rose28454. I'm sorry for my lateness (having managed to get in my shopping at Sains. before closing time), but at the moment I have the following down as pretty good:

    Shopping in T
Daz 42 washes - Summer Flower Power or Lime & Mandarin £4.00 (works out at 9.5p/wash) and, with caution, can go on a T PP shop as a 'filler' as N/A in A and S?

    Shopping in A (vs T)
Surf Tropical (50 wash) or Surf Lavender & Jasmine (50 wash) £7.00 vs £5.25 - offer due to end 7/5, so buy today (if living in a lucky place where shops open on Sun.evening) or tomorrow. Works out 10% cheaper than 10.5p/wash
A vs T - I have just added a few new items to my private list, so, together with the S&Gs, BE Cod Fish Fingers and Pots/Herbs& Butter etc., stay near for details...

There are of course own-brand washing powders such as Almat in Aldi. May be cheaper than Surf with 10% off £5.25. (I managed to beat the Aldi price on that, very slightly, when M's were £4.54 on the Surf 50, a very very long while ago.)

Or, even better, probably try Rootednomad's suggestion:
    Hi

Has anyone bought the Daz 38 wash in T's in the last 2 days? It is supposed to be BTHP at £4, but going into my basket on T.com at full price (£8.50). If it is scanning wrong I would prefer to get instore rather than online (:))

    Thanks RN.

If the Coupon Queen who was at the checkout at As in B'mouth this afternoon at 3.30 is reading this, please can you organize your A4 folder so that you have your coupons ready and not have to search through your folder for them. It was very frustrating for the people in the queue behind you.
