shocked I had you down from day one as
do you remember ,daft question:T
You wouldn't realise how much that picture bears an uncanny resemblance to me!!:rotfl::rotfl:
Right - I'm going for broke... not bothered now anymore as it's mostly from wombles anyway. I'll try those risk items and see...
Wish me very very good luck!:):)0 -
Do we have a word for someone who is the opposite of a trout because I've just met one in my A's.
I had a £9 APG from the gillette razor glitch so I looked for someone friendly (not that easy in my store). Put my shopping through gave her my APG and her jaw dropped open. I waited for the scowl, but instead she gave me a beaming smile, told me how lucky I was and how pleased she was for me and said she always checks hers. Hope I see her again.0 -
Scanned £4 in mine. Maybe I should have ventured out last night.
Probably for the best have been out shopping for an outfit to see my mum off. Not happy with what size trousers I had to buy.
TS, your post stirred a memory in me. When it was my dear mum's funeral three years ago, we stayed in a hotel the night before and I realised on the morning of the funeral I'd forgotten to take my black coat.
We dashed down to the local Asda and an assistant was SO helpful, searching in the back for the (very nice) jacket I wanted in my size, once I'd explained my predicament.
So two thoughts spring to mind. Firstly, Asda staff really are generally very nice and helpful, and I really appreciated that lady's kindness on that day. :A
And secondly, we do feel better when we make an effort with our appearance on these sad occasions. I put my hair up, put my make up on and did what needed to be done that day. So will you my darling, and things will get a little easier once the funeral's happened. We all dread these occasions, but it will be fine, and you have done your mum so very proud. xx :A :THope is not a strategy.0 -

I was served by a lovely lad tonight. I have been worried about using my £16 APG, but had to use it today, so thought I would go for bust, and also used a £10 in the same shop. Lad never even flinched.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
