    Thanks guys, they had another on the shelf (may be gone now) perhaps I should head back and try my luck...

    Hopefully your store may be fine at giving dtd - however do be prepared for every excuse under the sun why they can't give it to you :D

    Thanks DM but after the cost of diesel+time probably not worth the trip. What is does perhaps mean is that local machines I've seen have a bit further to go:)

    Glitch! But don't get too excited, as it is a very very minor one indeed.

    A S/P Shampoo is comparing vs M at 20p therefore saving 2p! (Enough for an extra bar of chocolate from T!) M's size is actually twice the size (and twice the price, same price per unit) - technically shouldn't be counted as outside 10% weight range but it is.

    Started off better than nothing this evening - this womble gave £2.20 vs T. The M comp. though is of more interest here. The more significant reason for posting this post is look at the Gordon's Gin & Schweppes Tonic (250ml) and the 2x Bacardi & Coke (250ml) - seem to be picking up some M m'buy offer between them.

    I'm looking at more wombles later (not able to check yet) - I got quite excited when I saw 7x Sheba on one of them!:rotfl::rotfl:But then saw a Whiskas multibuy too - and not sure whether or not that works out well alongside the Sheba (or even if the Sheba is still coming back good - knowing my luck this is probably over by now!) As is this post (bar the comparison), we hope!;)

    Pepsi 2L - come on, surely M's have that??!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Why £2.20?

    For those without A2 milk coupons, that last receipt has revealed that W are "any 2 for £2.00" multibuy on their 4 pint milk. Sada 4pt whole milk, skimmed, and semi-skimmed (but not the Welsh version). And not very good at the moment, given that the Cravendale are glitching. On which, can anyone confirm that this is comparing to M's with M's 2 for £3 offer?

    Would you believe my OH tried his 1st Bavaria shandy last night and decided it was OK to drink :mad: and I put the last of my tosco Bavaria mocs into the recycle :mad: I've got a small stock pile of shandy for youngest son to drink, he has one maybe a few nights a week if he gets in late. In the meantime I've been buying OH diet coke or coke zero for about £2 for six instead of Bavaria shandy which was working out at about 50p for six and he goes through at least 12 cans a week - usually more :(

    Typical! :rotfl:

    I have joined the pizza party, thank you!

    I have a number of wombles from 2p to £4.40 (now 6 per page in Word so worth printing). Anyone else not bothering with Snap and Save etc for the 10ps - a lot of effort snapping receipts even if you can find the right one from the pile!

    I have decided shopping has become even more stressful when trying to maximise APG if kids are in tow. Shopping used to be easier though more expensive!

    if you cant be bothered going all over store, i just go to the sweets. they have any 11 for £1. mind you i only get the amount needed not 11.

    I follow a similar policy in the tinned veg aisle - (I wouldn't use the sweets and I have a ridiculous collection of flumps :o). Tinned potatoes, kidney beans ( a good comparison A v T), sweetcorn, tomatoes, peas, instant mash to bung on a posh cottage pie. Schnell, schnell Kartoffelkopf! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Hope is not a strategy.
