    Morning all,
    shop from last night.
    Cravendale still working.
Cheescake should have compared against £1.75 at Mr T.
Phone call this morning to sort out.
    APG for £11.59
12 items (11 different) on your bill qualify for comparison Tesco
    +£10.25

    0.2 x ASDA Carrots by Weight (100g) £0.16 £0.16
    0.2 x ASDA Mushrooms by Weight (100g) £0.52 £0.53
    1 x Dolmio Bolognese Sauce - Original (750g) £2.50 £1.30
    1 x Dolmio Bolognese Sauce - Extra Mushroom (750g) £2.50 £1.30
    1 x Dolmio Bolognese Sauce - Extra Onion & Garlic (750... £2.50 £1.30
    1 x Maltesers (37g) £0.50 £0.60
    2 x Cravendale Pure Filtered Whole Milk (2L) £3.96 £3.00
    1 x Young's Whole Scampi (220g) £4.48 £2.00
    1 x Cadbury Double Decker (4x60g) £1.75 £1.00
    1 x ASDA Chosen by You Strawberry Cheesecake (540g) £2.50 N/A
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Really Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream... £2.00 £0.94
    1 x Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise - Squeezable (430ml) £2.75 £1.24

Comparison total (compared products only) £23.62 £13.37

Thanks for the heads up on the Cravendale.

It's caused me to look on MSM and I notice this is now showing as a straight £1.98 for A on there again. It's also again without the multibuy on a.com. Have A now decided to change their price set-up again - is this still scanning at 2 for £3.00 instore today and is the online price the one for delivery tomorrow?

Also - please forgive if this seems a little harsh - is there an M comp. on that shop? Dolmios are 99p in M. (Cravendale also on 2 for £3 there.) Has the Young's Scampi lost it vs M? The mayonnaise - I also think there are probably better options vs M.

The cheesecake has correctly returned N/A. A's version is 540g but, if you add that to your basket and switch over to T on MSM, T's version is 630g. It's outside the 10% weight range - also 10% off T's price but for 540g rather than the 630g you'd get in T is slightly more expensive based on weight. If the 540g A version were £1.75, we're looking at 32.407p/100g. Minus 10% of that price per unit if you've effectively got it for £1.75-10%. It's about 32p minus 3p = 29p. However, this is opposed to straight 27.8p/100g for T's product from T. If it was sorted out by more than a 10% refund however then it's been worthwhile, but the APG was correct on this item this time.

Lango got the 750ml Dolmios Savvy, is it those or the 500ml that compare to 99p in M? If it is the 500ml then Lango's shop works out better value at £1.30 less 10% for 750ml.

Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No, I can't see any harm in it either if all coupons were correctly used - but I still feel it may have been unwise to draw Tesco eyes too closely on him. We all know how difficult T's can be at times. Also ' very accommodating' Sa's may be less accommodating if they are given a major rollocking . He's clearly a bright young lad but perhaps a little less publicity would have been better. Still not sure about the CC number being published either.

I think no-one had twigged about the CC number.
Looking at him, my thought was maybe he has Asperger's. However, I'm being very stereotypical (stereotypes are not a good idea) as you can't tell from how someone looks if they have Asperger's or not. That said, perhaps sometimes squinty eyes or an odd gait can give it away (to all but the 'sufferer') - that's sometimes me. It would also explain the less publicity being wiser.

We tend to concentrate on our special interest (which changes from time to time, and thus we do get a larger perspective than normal humans!) but my naivety is sometimes a legend and 'at that age' (stereotyping again!) the thought about the wiseness or otherwise of publicity most likely has never occurred - I certainly wouldn't have appreciated the wider social context (as to what's wise to do or not) when I was much younger, and inexperienced, and I have to learn everything from a book or from experiencing it and making the mistake as nothing is intuitively there.

BTW, my thought is that T do monitor these forums, but A and MSM are not. Numerous times T's have changed T&Cs or stopped things after they were on here and I was using those techniques - given how often they've thwarted me (or appeared to do so), I suspect they do pay careful attention to this thread (and others), especially after the ill-fated DTD price check. So, good morning, T, if you are reading!

    Morning.

Largest cups scanning at the bargain price, if you can check an empty one first. Scamps had them scan penny one store but full price at another. HTHs

Ah.. yes it's the 500g in M (I was concentrating on one half of the description, the Dolmio Bolognese Sauce, and not much on the other half, including the weight:o). Perhaps I'd be better to remove the 500g from the vs M list?

    Hi,
Yes your right, I bought the larger jars of Dolmio.
Checked Morrisons comparison and it reads -9p.
Rang APG team about cheesecake and told them how annoyed I was that the prices come back as N/A when it shows on MSM.
Nice £5 gift card on way for my troubles:beer:
