Odd, how much are they on the receipt?
Should be £1.90 or £1.80 depending which box you take them from in my local
Go through as £1.90 so £2 giftcard if anyone can be bothered by buying one ;)

I've had problems with these, some SAs won't accept them so I've tried using the Self Service. Went to get tomatoes yesterday but they were still £1 a tin on SEL so went for penne and fusilli pasta (65p) but the coupons did not work at the SS, got the same error message as above about minimum spend not met.

If / when the toms go back to 50p a tin does anyone know how many I can get through the SS without the light flashing?
Hi, did you actually scan the tomatoes? My store had them priced at 1.00 too, but they actually scanned at 50p.
I am not young enough to know everything.

I'm home from my long walk in the sunshine - what a beautiful and hot day it is! I bought a mag in S before my shopping and out popped a £4.50 off £30 spend, double points on my next shop and 200 points with £20 booze spend :j result. Just bought some swimwear for hols in 4 weeks :D

Sat in the garden, is it too early to crack open a Bavaria?

Interesting - I used my secondary card and the same came out. I actually bought 12 bottles the other day so I am wondering wether to take them back for a refund and rebuy them :D

Toms are scanning at 50p even though SEL still says £1 - moc scans just fine on these (SA willing of course;))

    Yes!!

First womble, from 29/4, has given £3.09!!!:):):) That's paid for the petrol. (I don't know why anyone at all is getting filled up today at A fuel stations, unless their car is literally on its last drop. National price going down by a penny tomorrow. That's one way to save 1p a litre, other than buying £60 worth of groceries! Wait till tomorrow.)

I've not gone into the details of the result yet - receipt is from 3 days ago anyway, so might not be as much help. When I get time to later, I'll check it out fully - and be assured if anything's to report, it'll be reported!!:rotfl::D

My sainsbobs has started spitting out 8p a litre off if you buy £20 of clothing. A far easier way to get money off fuel with no longterm outlay.
Why when I do this do I not buy clothes that are useless to me rather than choosing stuff i actually like and is in my size that I sometimes decide to keep?

    Thanks Emily and Martin.

No I didn't bother scanning the toms because I didn't want to risk paying £1 a tin. I'll try again tonight with the toms.

Anyone know how many I can get through SS without the coupon having to be authorised, does it depend on how much other stuff you buy?

Has anyone else had problems with the Parioli moc's not scanning on certain products:(

Canned toms - Moc works fine so free :j:j

Three types of pasta and bolognaise sauce all give minimum spend not met or something like that :mad: (Tried 2 xtra's yesterday both the same)

I bought 4 toms, 4 pasta sauce and 9 pasta yesterday. Only 4 mocs would scan so Sa split the shop and put 13 mocs through as non scan.
