A very MSE way to get rid of ants is to make up your own solution of Borax and Icing sugar. Works everytime and cheaper. You only need a little bit in something like the top of a milk bottle and put it somewhere on their trail. It gets taken back to the nest and problem solved.
Will get the quantities you mix it in from Mr TS later. You have to be patient but we had ants coming in our kitchen tuesday, and hardly any yesterday only couple this morning and no powder to clear up.
good idea - but where can you buy borax?I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

Local chemist usually stocks it, I got my packet in Boots. But don't ask me for how much as it lasts ages. We use it to do cleaning as well.0 -
Oh booger
I've just had a look at the front of the car and can see a small crack in one of the plastic grill bars. Looked fine other than that, then I bent down to look underneath and there is a rather large bit of black hanging loose    No it aint the remains of the badger but the black plastic underside between the drivers front wheel and the front plastic bumber bit
So sorry to here this. It reminds of the time a few years ago I borrowed my sisters month old car. My dd 8 at the time picked her first numbers on the lottery although I paid for the ticket & she got 4 numbers & won £80. I said she could have the winnings. Excited we went to collect the money the next morning on way back a hare ran out in front of me. It dented the whole of the bonnet & buckled underneath. I had to pay the excess of £150 :eek:. My dd bless her :A said I could keep the winnings but I put into her savings account.0 -

Go back to the dealer and ask them to investigate;)
OH once phoned me to say he had hit a pheasant when driving, my immediate response was that I didn't know how to cook pheasant. I imagined the car arriving home with feathers attached, but it looked ok apart from a small dent on the bonnet where it had bounced!
Just waiting for DS3 to come round so he can get underneath and see how loose it is before I atemt to drive to Dealership.
I hit a pheasant years ago in my mini, it dented the front of the bonnet, the front of the roof and left a trail of blood from front to back of car :eek:Clipstrip_Bargains wrote: »You don't have a Zafira do you?
