Thanks everyone. My first time going and I'm really excited. OH went about 18 years ago, probably when it was still just a desert :rotfl:

I'll have a little gamble but I'm going to the casino for the free drinks instead :D going for 6 nights and mum is looking after both kids  Her and ad not going to the wedding as dad can't fly due to ill health and mum doesn't like to :o

There's so much to do tiger try and have a gameplay if you can. Obviously you have a wedding to go to :D but there is loads of other stuff to see.
If you google 10 things to do in Vegas you'll get loads of ideas, off the top of my head.
    • daytrip to the Grand Canyon and Hoover dam.
    • shark reef at the Mandalay bay hotel.
    • the lion enclosure at the MGM grand.
    • the Fremont street experience. (About 30 mins from the strip)
    • the bellagio fountain show.
    • the volcano eruption from the mirage.
    • see inside the Venetian hotel it's amazing.
    • the worlds tallest (maybe) roller coaster on top of the New York New York hotel.
    • the rides on top of the stratosphere. (Very very scary and very high)
    • have ya piccy taken at the welcome to Vegas sign.
    • dance on the tables at the coyote ugly bar in the New York New York hotel. ( I can recommend this :D) ladies drink very cheaply.

There is so much more but my brain won't think at the moment :o
Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Get your coins ready, as you see the hostess passing pop one into the fruit machine and ask for a drink ;)

Have you been on the vegas thread on here, it is amazing?

On a cruise, :D, its so expensive to go in Aug and we don't have a choice with me teaching and now DH is in a job where he gets a fortnight allocated to him but thankfully they managed to give him 2 weeks in Aug. But it leaves us with no flexibility and I like to plan so leaving things to the last minute is difficult for me.

We have cruised before and I'm not a lie on the sand type. It's with Celebrity to Norway, haven't been there before but to be honest not that worried about the ports will just be nice to get away. Only got DD so the cruise means she can make friends on holiday quite easily, hoping to maybe set up some friendships beforehand with others going.

We also have a drinks package included so no watching the pennies at all, neither me or DH drink much but it's nice to know its an option.

Could so do with a holiday this year.:D

Hope you are doing ok xxx
have a nice time, i thought 1 week ago you were going to leave it until the last minute lol. i know what its like once you start reading the deals you cant help but book.
i was looking at a norway one in august but with princess or p&o. but think ill leave it untill the last minute ;)

Princess were my second choice, they have come down to £599 for August but just couldn't let the obc, drinks package and free shore excursions with celebrity pass by.

I have until June 2 to pay my final balance so might still change my mind.

I was tempted by carnival or ncl for DD12 but they would mean fly cruising and I want this to be as relaxing as possible.:D

    Morning all.
Just back from my pizza shop and got a TPP back as well which I wasn't expecting (hadn't realised the Dr Oetker were cheaper in Ms)
If anyone's planning on grabbing them from Ts the pollo, pepperoni, mozarrella and funghi compare to Ms and the hawaiian doesn't (no idea about the other 2)
Handy if like me you can't get to Ms :)

    Thank you :)

You didn't by any chance get any parioli items as well did you? would like to combine that with the pizza's, but don't know if M's stock, or their costs if they do!

You usually need to ask Snap-ant for a password, but Madmuppet might be able to give you one whilst Snap-ant is on her hols.

Enjoy your time away Snap-ant, and take care of yourself 4p!
