Hi there all! I have missed a few days....so just don't tell me if I missed a mega glitch that is over:eek::eek:
I've been a bit poorly, I've had mastitis...jeez is that worse than I expected! Antibiotics have started to kick in now so feeling much better and thought I'd pop in before I get off to bed.
On the subjesct of holiday reading I always enjoy a Bill Bryson book. I honestly laugh out loud at them, 'Notes From a Small Island' is my favourite so far. Also loved 'At Home'
Right night shift I'm off, I'll catch up with you all tomorrow:p0 -

Im sure it was only about £3 in tescos.
I really should try a kindle, just I like having a book, and I also know how clumsy I can be. :rotfl:
Are they much better than the kindle apps on tablets?“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I have iPad, I download kindle books on it. We have lots of books here....proper books. OH doesn't like to read anything Except a proper book ( we have totally diverse tastes in books, he will never read mine and vice versa ) Ds2 also likes a proper book0 -

Savvybuyer wrote: »Apparently 9 different items plus reuse a bag. (I think I'm correct in saying it (T PP) works like that. Although I'm not sure whether it's supposed to be that way, I always used to have the number of different products, in case the prices for the rival returned incorrectly and in case I needed to go to CS and to avoid them saying 'well you shouldn't have qualified as you only got 9 items'. (...but bag re-use is one item???).
Also I think if, for example, you buy a daily newspaper in T, doesn't that appear on PP and say N/A everywhere else (as it's not a 'grocery' item) but nonetheless counts towards the number required for PP? I don't think (I stand to be corrected) that the number of items - while obviously an issue for T - it isn't an issue in the sense that if a different item (there don't appear to be excluded categories?) is on your receipt, it'll count on T PP and not like the Sada APG scheme where it has to be a grocery item that appears on MSM.co.uk (and that which is a moving target and items go on and off that site with different items appearing for different people in different areas of the country).
Back when you just needed 8 items, I did a 7 item shop that included 1p chocs, whoopsies, flowers, sandwiches. It worked fine for me because bag use counted as my 8th item
I shared it on the group and a lot of people did it from then on
Now that it's 10 items I know a lot of people are getting 9 and bag re-use.
T's requirements is just that you have different items. Doesn't matter what they are in the slightestApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
