A mad thought occurs to me
Is this offer only for brand new natiowide customers?
    Open this account with £2500.
Set up a standing order from my marks bank current account for £1000.
But this £1000 would have to come from our joint current account which is an ordinary nationwide account

    Another non-supermarket and non-

    gambling offer of potential interest.

Nationwide Flexdirect current account has just appeared on Quidco offering £70 for opening the account if you use the Nationwide account transfer service and indicate this in the application. The account offers 5% interest on £2500 in the account for 1 year (then drops, so can close after 1 year), so long as you pay in £1000 per month from an external account (so worth around £125 in interest, higher than most savings accounts). With Faster payments it is now possible to pay in and out in minutes and keep your balance at £2500 for the year ...

    http://www.quidco.com/nationwide-flexdirect-current-account/

Worth investigating - online application takes about 10 minutes if that, it runs the credit check automatically as part of that application process and tells you if you have been accepted for the account (it did for me anyway - another current account added to my stable for the cashback!). Need employer address, how long you have been with another bank (month/year) etc so have your details ready.

Did I mention that the recent magazine offer and Tesco Bank and/or Post Office online savings accounts are really useful for setting up direct debits ... you know, should you ever need to switch an account (use an old current account should you not wish to mess up your existing main account!).

    HTH

  • How do all. We were visiting family today in Essex. Called into lots of stores (five I think!) on our travels but found no chocs or 8 packs of Thatchers. Found some Easter little ducks in a clear tube with an SEL of £2, but were £1. So it shows that its a bit of a minefield. But enjoyed the thrill of the chase. Not got time to read back 25 pages without being very antisocial with family we are visiting tonight, but hope everyone has had a good day.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused

I found myself a 1p box of Tesco Nut and Fruit collection. I love chocolate raisins but hate plain chocolate and Tesco have put the damn raisins in plain chocolate :mad:

Posted on old thread but dont think I got any answers. Anyone know the answer to my query pretty please :D

Yah, postman just been and delivered a booklet of £9 off £60 spends for sainsbobs. So guess I will be shopping there over the next 5 weeks or so. But what I would like to know please, is if I pay for my shopping with nectar points. e.g. buy £60 worth and use £25 points to partially pay, would I still be able to use the £9 off coupon. Hope that all makes sense lol.

    tia

Yes but use your £9 off first then the nectar points. Hth
