HELP Please! What to wear to my own party?

I badly need help!
Its my 30th birthday in June and to mark the occasion Im having a sit down meal in a hotel. Just family and a couple of close friends (18 people in total)
I have absolutley no idea what to wear
Its on a Sunday in the afternoon, so dont want to look too 'evening' if that makes sense?
Any ideas much appreciated! Starting to panic xx

Should be nice and sunny by then, so how about a 50s style dress? They're lovely for a formal event but aren't dressy in the same way an evening gown would be.
