Stocking up household items befor BR

Would it be seen as being dishonest by the OR if I used the last of my money to stock up some household items/food in bulk before going BR? (not using credit card) I don't mean going over the top but perhaps spending double what I normally would in the supermarket etc?
I am also thinking of purchasing a slow cooker and I need a freeview box as we are cancelling Sky and similar bits like this to prepare for life as BR. Is this ok?

I did this but not within the last few days. Although not encouraged, I would have thought being prepared is a good idea. We also very naughtily, took out the odd £10 here and there over the last few weeks and bought washing powder, tinned items on offer etc.
Make sure you keep the receipts incase any of the transactions are queried.
Good luck with the BR, after going through it I can confirm life is so much better now I am totally debt free.

I can't see why this would be a problem at all...you're not using credit for it and you're not buying anything extravagant that would be considered an asset..it's all reasonable stuff that any average household would need, whether you buy it in bulk or not.0 -

Yep, big bag of rice and pasta, washing powder etc sounds like a good idea.
