Sainsburys no longer stocking So Organic Raisins

Went looking for Sainsburys So Organic raisins last night and my local Sainsburys no longer stock them. The customer services said they have been discontinued along with several other So Organic products.

Am I the only person who uses organic raisins when baking ?

Contact them asking you would like to see them restocked, might work and i might not but no harm in trying.

That must be why I recently got some bags of these raisins reduced to 50p each. They had been £2 each.

OP, you could try buying some of the 500g bags of basics Greek currants for 3p instead? Not quite the same thing but at that price who's complaining?

Maybe the SO sultanas too? I see that they're 'unavailable' on my online Sains favourites. They've stopped stocking Crazy Jacks as well. But I did see a new line of Sains organic baking goods, so maybe some are being 'rebranded'?

Holland and Barrett is doing buy one get one for a penny on lots of stuff at the moment and the Neal's Yard Wholefoods organic dried fruit is very good.

Think it was gailey who got some USDA certified organic raisins in b&m recently.

Poundland has had non organic additive free California raisins recently.
  • Thanks for the input. I'll try Holland and Barrett at the weekend.

They have also dropped SO Organic Soft Dried Apricots. These were lovely and much darker in colour and nicer to snack on than the orange-coloured dried apricots.

Dried mango is being sold off at 10p a bag so looks like that is going too.
