Hi,
I am looking for a electric strimmer and wondered if anyone has a personal recommendation? It's a mine field out there!
Our petrol one is now becoming difficult to use over our large garden!
Would prefer one suitable for the taller person.
Many thanks
Carmen

stick with a petrol one if you have a large garden. Electric means long cables or cordless means lots of time to re-charge. I use a Ryobi Petrol which has done me well for several years0

Absolutely agree about getting a petrol one. IMO, electric cables and strimmers dont go well together and battery ones are next to useless (unless you think your grass needs a tickle).
I bought one of these in 2011 and its still going very well. No complaints.

My O/H agrees that petrol is they way to go, especially on the harder area's. Unfortunately it does take it's toll on him and as he will not let me near the petrol strimmer :(I thought I would get an electric one to 'tickle' around the easier area's.
Thanks for your suggestions so far.
